"Colorado DUI checkpoints scheduled

Colorado DUI checkpoints are scheduled for Memorial and Labor Day weekend between 10PM and 3AM the next morning. The DUI checkpoints are meant to deter drivers from drinking too much before operating a vehicle and knowing about the checkpoints may help do so law enforcement is hoping. In addition, if convicted of a Colorado DUI the court costs and fines would end up costing that person around $9,000 in the end. There are four more Colorado DUI checkpoints scheduled for the year.
