"New connecticut DUI laws to be effective"

As of October 1, 2003, a new law will take effective, allowing a judge to order drivers convicted of DUI and other related offenses can only drive vehicles equipped with an ignition interlock device. This device will not allow the DUI offender to operate the vehicle if the driver’s blood alcohol content is too high.
