Arrest For Drunk Driving and Child Neglect

Arrest For Drunk Driving and Child Neglect

An Indiana woman was arrested and charged with the misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated. She was also charged the felony of neglect of a dependent.

After a witness saw the blue vehicle that the woman was driving weave in the road, a state trooper was called. The state of Indiana encourages motorists to report drunk driving while remaining anonymous. The trooper, Brent Clark, followed the vehicle into a restaurant parking lot where it struck a curb.

The driver was identified as Alfie Brock and the small child she endangered was her 12-year-old stepdaughter who sat in the passenger seat.

After the trooper determined that Brock had a blood alcohol level over the state’s legal limit, she was then arrested.

The next morning, Brock was released after posting a $650 cash bond. Her stepdaughter was released into the custody of her mother.
