Victor Sherman
Victor Sherman is co-founder of Sherman and Sherman Law – he has worked on such cases as a “Watergate” defendant and with the lead defendant in the largest money laundering case in the U.S. He has also argued before the United States Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal in numerous federal areas. Mr. Sherman received his B.S. in Business from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1962 and his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1965. Mr. Sherman has tried hundreds of cases in both federal and state courts, ranging from business fraud to drug offenses, tax crimes, securities fraud, money laundering, public corruption, customs violations and racketeering as well as crimes of violence such as murder, sexual assaults and arson. Prior to founding his own practice in 1984, Mr. Sherman worked with Nasatir, Sherman & Hirsch, which was incorporated in 1969.

Janet Sherman 
Janet Sherman is also a founder of Sherman and Sherman Law. Working as a criminal defense lawyer she has represented defendants both at federal and state levels.  In 1981 she graduated from the Western State University, College of Law, in San Diego, CA. She is an expert in federal sentencing and civil and criminal asset forfeiture. Dr. Sherman was Associate Professor of Sociology at San Diego State University from 1975 to 1981. She taught courses in criminology and sociology of deviant behavior
Dr. Sherman has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second, Third, Fourth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuits, all of the United States District Courts in California, the United States Tax Court, and all of the courts of the State of California.

Collin O’Neill
The firm’s newest attorney is Collin O’Neill. Graduating from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2005, he joined the California State Bar in 2006. Prior to attending Law School, O’Neill spent two years as a clerk for the litigation firm O’Neill, Lysaght, and Sun. He also worked a television journalist for ten years where he earned numerous awards for his work including three Telly Awards and has been recognized by both the New York Film festival and the Houston international film festival.
